Buys fake cocaine and calls police to get refund

Saturday, August 18th, 2007

A woman was arrested after she called local police to help “get her money back”: she purchased a “fake” crack cocaine!

Apparently a Rochelle woman thought so when she called the local police to help “get her money back” after she was unhappy with the crack cocaine she had bought Thursday night. Juanita Marie Jones, 53, of 957 Gordon St. called Rochelle Police late Thursday night after she purchased what she thought was a $20 piece of crack cocaine, she said. She told officers she broke the rock into three pieces and smoked one, only to discover the rock was “fake.” She told Officer Joel Quinn and Deputy John Shedd of the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office that she wanted them to get her money back. Jones took the officers into her kitchen and showed them the alleged “fake” rock at which time they arrested her on charges of possession of cocaine.

PolicewomanA Nevada sheriff’s policeman arrests a colleague on drunken-driving charge, and discovers she is his own wife!

In the USA state of Nevada, a policewoman who was caught driving drunk was taken into custody by her husband, who was also a policeman. According to the newspaper Elko Free Press, Charlotte Moore, aged 36, was returning from a reception when she was stopped because of moving violation. The policeman who stopped the car was her husband Mike Moore, who was the Deputy Elko Sheriff. After she rejected the alcohol examination, Mike Moore called for additional support. When the test was done, Charlotte Moore was proved to have taken alcohol more than allowed. Until the official juridical decision is made, Charlotte Moore has been temporarily removed from the office.

Woman arrested by his husband, and got troubles at work, because she is a policewoman (she was an off-duty sheriff’s during the arrest)… this might make for a tense time at home?

Hello Kitty armbandBizarre punishment: Thai police officers caught breaking the rules will have to wear hot pink armbands featuring “Hello Kitty.”

Errant Thai police had better beware. Offenders who refuse to heed superiors’ warnings to mend their ways will find themselves shamed into doing so – forced to wear a hot pink armband adorned with the Japanese cartoon character Hello Kitty, beloved of little girls [...] “[Hello] Kitty is a cute icon for young girls. It is not something macho police officers want covering their biceps.”

Those officers who are found to be in violation of such rules as arriving in late will be forced to wear the armband around the office for a day.
